How do I change the FTP/SSH password for my domain?

Posted by on Jan 17, 2013 in Frequently Asked Questions

Answer: The ‘Domain & FTP’ section allows you to update your domain & FTP Settings for your hosting plan. You can use the information on this page to upload files directly to your web hosting account via FTP & SSH;

Domain = the ROOT domain associated with your web hosting plan.
Contact Email = The admin email address associated with your hosting plan.
FTP Address = The server that provides you access to upload files to your plan.
FTP User Name = Your ROOT domain name.
FTP Password = The key allowing you to upload files to your hosting plan, this is different to any database passwords that you have created installing web applications.*Once you have made your desired changes they will be applied to your account once you click the ‘Save’ button. To abandon changes simple click Cancel

*Please note for security reasons you can only change your FTP/SSH Password here. If you have lost your password or suspect a security breach the best thing to do is generate a new password.
